Comments:
We served as Mission President & Mission Mom in the Kobe Mission from 1998 to 2001. We also lived in Tokyo from 1985 to 1989 while we were on assignment with IBM and teaching at the American School there. So, the pictures of the temple and Arisagawa Koen also brought back many fond memories of that time, too.
Our daughter and her husband live in the Setagaya-Ku part of Tokyo now. Hopefully, we'll get back over there for a visit and missionary work again soon.
Years as mission president: 1998-2001
Introduction: President Robertson is a returned missionary from the Northern Far East Mission. At the time of his call, Pres. Robertson was a member of the Stamford (Connecticut) Ward of the Yorktown (New York) Stake. He was brand manager for IBM. Some of his church callings have included: counselor in stake presidency, regional public communications department member, high councilor, bishop, and high priest group leader. (Source: Church News, 14 March 1998.)
We return to Japan to serve as Public Affairs missionaries in Tokyo on Feb 26th 2007 and serve under Pres Evans. We are glad we'll have some overlap time with the Broadheads who will be returning in March. Dave/Mary Lynn Robertson

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
