Comments:
Since my mission I graduated from BYU first with a bachelor degree in electrical engineering. Then with an MBA.
I married a Dutch girl named Harmke Brijs and we have 5 children and 7 2/3 grandchildren. I have one unmarried son.
I have worked for the US Army in New Jersey, Mountain Bell in Salt Lake City and Denver, AT&T, American Bell, AT&T IS, AT&T, Lucent, and Avaya, all in Denver Retiring from the last.
I have served in th YMMIA, as a Seventy, in a bishopric, several times as a clerk, now in the high council.
I have come lately to more fully understanding the great atonement of our Savior, A knowledge I should have had years earlier. I now seek to become closer to Him, and cast off many worldly thoughts. I know now more than ever of the truthfulness of the gospel and of our Savior's great gift to us.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
