Hi Everybody,
I married Glennona Baker on September4, 1958. We have five children and eleven grandchildren to date. We have lived in Seattle, Washington area since 1981. Previously, we lived in Dallas, Texas, Batesville, Indiana; Omaha, Nebraska; Syracuse, NY; Lynchburg, Virginia; and Schenectady, NY.
I have been active in the Church all of my life holding positions as a Bishop in Omaha, Branch President in Batesville, Bishop Counselor in Lynchburg, High councilman in Bellevue(outside Seattle), President of Elder's Quorum in Syracuse, President of Young Men in Syracuse, Stake Director of Employment in Bellevue and Dallas, and Chairman of Family History Fairs in Redmond Stake(also outside Seattle).
Thanks to all of you who have made this Mission such a wonderful experience for me. I have such wonderful memories of this event.
God bless you

This is a great website. It has been great to see all of these names of my former companions and spend some time remembering my mission, which clearly was one of the great period in my life. Two more companions: Elders Kay Christensen and Thomas Andersen.
Hi,
My wife and I are contemplating taking a trip to Japan sometime during June 2007. I wanted to visit the Branches that I labored in during my mission to the NFEM. Do you know if there is still Branches of the Church located in Yamagata & Muroran, Hokkaido?
I opened the Kobe Br. I know that is now a Stake or Mission. I also worked in Okamachi Branch (Ward Now) in Osaka. I also labored in Sendai.
I wanted to visit as many of these Branches as I can so any information you can give me will be helpful.
Yes, I am in good health and still working. I teach Managerial Accounting in the MBA program at City University of Seattle.
I sure remember my 3 year mission to Japan. My how that country has changed.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
