Comments: My wife and I just celebrated our tenth anniversary. Just over a year ago we welcomed our fourth into the world. Matthew(8) is now in the third grade and is has been taking piano lessons for almost a year. He will be playing Called to Serve for the primary program This Sunday at church. Listening to him practice reminds me of the ferver and conviction that Sister Derrick played with as we as a mission sang that song. Ahhhh, memories. Spencer(6) is loving first grade and taking every opportunity to be over-protective of his baby sister. Maggie(4) still wants to be involved with everyone and everything. She is in her second year of Mommy's pre-school and looking forward to going to big kid school next year with the boys. Christy is keeping busy with the in-home pre-school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is in the Primary presidency over the Cub Scouts in our ward. I am the Scoutmaster and in the Young Mens presidency in our ward. We are enjoying the challenges and rewards that come with parenting. It is amazing to see the learning capacity of children as they soak up the things they see, hear and feel.
Work is still great. We are currently building a surface water treatment plant in my area of responsibility that will alleviate much of the demand on the groundwater here in the west valley. School is still there and progressing. I will be done (finally) with my associates in Industrial Water and Waste Water Treatment early next year and begin my studies in business. Things are great and we are loving family life. Lots of love to you fellow PPM'ers. |
