I am Gloria C. Fajardo, married to Rommel M. Fajardo. I have 2 kids, a daughter and a son. My daughter, Rae Deanne Fajardo, is now 19 years old. She is taking up Nursing. My son, Richard Dallin is 8 years old, Grade 3 student.
I am currently serving as a Ward YW President, Ward Seminary Teacher (team teaching with my husband).
I visited one of my areas (Agdao) two years ago (2004). Great to see previous acquaintances. After 20 years of serving a full time mission, I had nostalgic feelings of my mission life. I went to Bario Patay, Sisters' Apartment, Agdao ditches, and the Agdao mtnghouse.
My family and I had an opportunity to visit US last February. Places we visited: Ogden, Provo, the great Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Reno, San Francisco, Oakland, San Diego, and LA.
I am so grateful I had the rare privilege to serve a full-time mission and being able to serve my Father in Heaven for a very short time. Tremendous blessings came because of my mission. I know if we do our best to serve Him, He will be true to His promises to bless us now and forever. I'm thankful for the many lessons learned and for being able to apply them in my marriage and family life. I love God so much. |
