I was the first in our family to be baptized in Nov 25,1978 ; 3 years later, my mother, brothers and sisters followed. My father was the last to become a member. He died in 2000. The church had been part of my life. It made a big influence in my plans and goals. There are only two of us now who are still unmarried, my younger brother and I. For 5 years now, I serve in the Stake Primary Presidency of Buhangin Stake. I am still working with Phil Airlines. Because of the travel benefits I enjoyed from my job, I was able to visit and been to the temples in Salt Lake City , SFO, LAX .During these visits, I learned that members are alike...they strive to observe and keep the standards of the church. |
