| After joining this mission website I browsed to see who else was registered here. I found a few of the old school boys and girls and felt impressed to call one or two of them. I was able to connect with an old companion from many moons ago, Avery Sellards, and had a wonderful reunion with him. Isn't it crazy; you spend a few short months with someone as a missionary, and many years later when you re-connect you are overwhelmed with a flood of tender emotions which overtakes you and brings back all those boyhood memories. It's also very refreshing to reconnect on a spiritual level too. We all know not everyone remains active after their mission experience but regardless of spiritual status the love, kinship and brotherhood remains strong with those who have once served shoulder to shoulder in the Lord's service. I also want to commend those who manage this web service - well done. Its made this old missionary a happy man. |
