Max W. Craner, 63, assigned to the Philippines Quezon City Mission; Rexburg 4th Ward, Rexburg Idaho East Stake; regional representative, former stake president, high councilor, bishop, and Scoutmaster; served in Central Atlantic States Mission, 1949-1951; Church Educational System area director; received bachelor's degree from Ricks College, master's degree and doctorate from BYU; born in Burley, Idaho, a son of John Thomas and Sarah Lauretta Wells Craner; married Evelyn Parke, six children. She is a Relief Society teacher, former stake Relief Society president, stake Primary president's counselor, and ward Young Women president; attended Southern Idaho College of Education; born in Declo, Idaho, a daughter of Vasco Anson and Teresa Leone Anderson Parke.
