| This story happened in my 3rd area (San Pablo II) with my trainee, Sister Garcia.
One day, we were walking down the Street going to our appointment. But unfortunately, we were punted:( Our plan B was to visit a member in that compound. But for the second time, we were punted again! As usual, Plan C is next in line. Pero bakit ganoon, punted again? My companion and I think of our next alternative while walking down the street. While we were in the midst of thinking...something whispered to me to go to the house of a member who has a non-member wife. We agreed to what has been prompted!
We found ourselves knocking on that door when a beautiful woman opened the door for us. Yehey! She is the wife of that good member! We BRT her and opened a discussion about her belief and experiences. I cannot forget what she said about her prayer. She was praying one night that the Lord will help her know the truth. Her mind is now opened for GOSPEL discussion dahil noon ay ayaw niya makinig sa mga Misionaries. Kahit nag-share ang asawa niya noon sa kanya ay ayaw niya talaga. We were able to teach her the discussions...and finally she decided to accept our invitation for baptism because she prayed about it. The answer is right!
Because of the promptings of the Spirit, we found gold in our area. Now, they are preparing to enter into the House of the Lord and be sealed as a family for time and eternity...u |
