I've been trying to contact my trainer Gabriel Alfaro for some time now and just discovered that he passed away in 2006. He will be missed.

Gabriel Alfaro March 30, 1973 - August 5, 2006 Passed away at age 33. Native of Fremont, CA. Beloved son of Irene Alfaro of Tracy, CA, and Pablo Garcia of Mexico. Loving brother of Consuelo Rosas, Carolina Gonzalez and Michael Gonzales. Loving uncle of Melissa Ramos and Sierra Gonzales. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends in the United States, Puerto Rico and Mexico. Born in Hayward, CA, he was a lifelong resident of Fremont and attended Kennedy High School in Fremont. He served as a missionary from 1994 until 1996 in Puerto Rico for the Mormon Church. Upon his return he worked as a professional roofer throughout the Bay Area. Gabriel will be remembered as a devoted son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. His loving spirit and devotion to life and the lives of others, will forever be in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. We will miss you. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, August 15th, 2006, 6:00 PM at Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary, 48800 Warm Springs Boulevard, in Fremont. Viewing was private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Gabriel's memory be made to the charity of your choice.
