Rebecca and I have been married for 2 years and are doing well. She hasn't changed the locks when I have left for work so in my book we are still in the green. Our son Charlie is about 15 monthes old and is as big as most three year olds. He is a fun kid. He has taken to banging his head on the floor, another sign he is like his pappa.
Almost two years ago we moved from sunny New Mexico to Vancouver, Washington. There is something like seventy thousand transplanted russians and ukrianians in this area. In our stake we have started a russian speaking group that hopefully should develop into a branch over time. They need all the help they can get so if you are in the area or are looking to relocate, Vancouver not so bad. It is kind of like being a missionary again, but I can sleep in the same bed as my companion and no tracting or contacting. |
