Served only four months in Moscow with Tobias Bradford before I was exiled (transferred) out to Siberia to finish out my mission in Ekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. Britani and I returned to live in Moscow for six months Jan-Jun 1997 after we were married to work for International Language Programs. We were fortunate to live in the same building as Dima and Sveta Marchenko and had wonderful relations with the incredible people in the Filyovskii Branch. I graduated from BYU in Russian and my love for those people still burns inside me. Drop me a line if you're interested in how the work got started out in Siberia or want an opportunity to return to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Perm, or parts of the Ukraine with ILP (I know the Director). |
