I joined the Church in Moscow in August 1991. From 1992 to1993, I worked at the Mission office as one of the church translators. I came to BYU in 1993 where I got my BA in 1998. While working at the MTC during my school years, I met my husband Patrick Slowinski. We've been married for almost 7 years now, and we have a wonderful son Roman who is 2,5 years old. This summer, in August 2002, my husband and I graduated from BYU together once again. Patrick finished his doctorate in the department of Ed. Leadership and Foundations at BYU, and I recieved an MEd in the same department. For the last 4, 5 years I've been working as a linguist with the Utah National Guard, and I really enjoy my job.
