I graduated from the U of U May of 2005 and escaped with two Bachelor degrees, Finance and Russian. Fidelity Investments picked me up right after graduation and I’ve been working there ever since. Jodie and I have a 21 month old boy named Carter. As far as callings go I’m the 2nd Counselor in the Y.M.’s presidency, so I’m in charge of the Deacons, which also makes me the ward Scoutmaster. Can anybody out there teach me how to tie a sheep shank? Jodie is a Primary teacher and loving life staying at home with Carter. Right now we are enjoying no school, making some money, and planning our next move as far as work vs. more education. We’ve been hanging out pretty regularly with the Aaron Larson and Jody Eckley families. Our kids are all boys and about the same age so that has been fun. I haven’t heard much about the mission. My cousin, Elder Ted Hess, is serving in Moscow right now so I get a little news here and there from what he is experiencing in the field. I’d be lying if I said I don’t miss you all and the good times we had out in the Rodina. I’m real jealous of any of you who have made it back since the mission. I’m still trying to figure out a way to get back! Anyway, drop me a line; I’d love to hear from any of you out there. If not I’ll see you when we all make it to “The Great Gig in the Sky.” |
