I just realized that I haven't updated my profile for three years and a lot has changed. I became certified as an EMT when I was living in southern Utah and worked for the local ambulance service in St George for over a year. While working as an EMT, I realized that I enjoy medicine much more than I enjoy accounting and decided to go back to school. I am currently applying to medical school hoping to begin in the fall of 2008. Wish me luck!
In the summers I work as a wildland firefighter and I love it! Now that fire season is over I am teaching test preparation for the medical school admissions test. I like the teaching but firefighting has better and more exciting stories to tell. (Like the day base camp almost burned down...that's a good story.) Well, I guess that will do for the next three years. Take care everyone. |
