Left Samoa in 1967, drafted in the US Army. Served a year in Viet Nam as a Platoon SGT. in the 1st 5th Cav. Worked building homes, electrician, Diesel Mechanic. Graduated from SUSC in Cedar City, Utah. Taught school for 20 years, retired in 1996. Played ever since. Been in every state in the USA. Found a friend I worked with in 1963-64, he gives me all his friends and family fare passes for air line passage. They don't fly to Samoa, guess I'll fly to Hawai'i and then back to Samoa.
My wife and I have been in 32 temples. Positions in the church. Served in the Young Mens, Elders Quorum Counselor and President. Ward Clerk, Taught Sunday School and Priesthood for many years, and was 1st counselor in the Bishopbric.
We have 7 children and 6 grandchildren. |
