Comments: well, first up, i miss the 'Great Singapore Mission' so much! I've been home since June 2004 and i am still suffering from PTMF (Post-traumatic mission flashbacks). I thought about applying for Malaysian citizenship...i'll keep you all updated on that one. Well anyway i have a few church callings right now. I'm sunday school teacher, young men first councillor and ward chorister, so they are keeping me very busy! I love Malaysia and Singapore for that is where i really gained my own personal testimony of the gospel and loved every second of the great missionary work I was able to participate in. life doesn't get any better than the two years in the mission field! Although that opinion might change when i get married!!!
Well, now im engaged to the most beautiful lady in the world...Fidelia Sawai Ak Michael Mulok! met her last year when i went back to Msia for a holiday. Kind of guided to each other, our paths just crossed and we fell in love! She's the answer to my prayers and its so exciting preparing for our marriage on may 2nd 2006 in kuching and we will be sealed in the london england temple on may 12th, 2006!!! Its hard being engaged so far apart from each other, but we have learned many valuable things during this time. so now im saving all the money that i can so that we will be ready to have a good start to our married life in kuantan (where Fidelia is studying).
We have now been married for 16 months and expecting our first child in January 2008. We live in Kuantan on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Despite the fact that we live 4 hours away from the nearest chapel, we still manage to get to church at least once a month and i feel unbelievably blessed to be living amongst all the people i fell in love with as a missionary. Check out our website for all the latest info. |
