We have been happily married for 18 years (02/20/1988). We have three incredible children named Cassidy (16), Chad (14), and Devin (9). We have remained active in the church and have enjoyed many different callings and experiences in difference wards.
Jollene and I moved around a lot in our first few years of marriage and lived in Provo UT, Cape Town SA, Durban SA, and then finally came to rest in Livermore CA in 1995. Livermore is a great city in the Central Valley of Northern CA, approximately 40 miles east of San Francisco.
Jollene is extremely active as an almost-full-time Mom. In her copious spare time she teaches dance (clogging) and group exercise (Aerobics, Cycling, etc.) at a local fitness center. I have been in the Network Consulting business for most of my career and have been a full-time independent contractor for several years. We are an extremely active family and do things such as boating, skiing, dirt bike riding, triathlons, etc. together whenever we can. Jollene and I especially enjoy training together for Triathlons.
Although I have tried to acclimatize to sports such as Football and Baseball in the USA I still spend a fair amount of time following my favorite sport of Cricket over the internet. South Africa continues to make me proud in this sport.
I’m sure this will be surprising to many but since returning to live in the USA we have not returned to SA yet. We hope to do so within the next 18 months before our oldest child starts college. That sounds really weird saying that. I can still remember being a missionary with many of you barely older than she is today.
Hopefully I’ll get a picture attach to my profile soon. Please contact Jollene and me and let us know about your lives post-SACTM. |
