Hi! 11 years to catch up on. Married in 1993 to Steve Walsh in Zimbabwe (new convert), lived in Mutare, Zimbabwe. Worked for various architectural, engineering and forestry companies, training Design, GIS and Forestry Planning Software. Helped husband with his mushrooming Furniture, Coffin and Casket (great line in Zim) Manufacturing Company. Had 3 kids, Pamela-1995, David-1997, Callan, 1999. Had Malaria and Pneumonia when pregnant with David, he was born very prematurely and has limited hearing and little sight - our little angel. In 2001 due to intense political conflict in Zimbabwe, we and many others were targeted in the governments anti-white violent moves. After a few friends were killed and we received death threats, we decided that it was not a cause worth dying for and left with a suitcase each, and moved to Canada. We are loving it here (a touch cooler than Zim!) but the strong LDS community is wonderful. We are finding our feet and look forward to travelling far and wide soon. Write me! |
