I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a BGS - Nonprofit Administration Degree. In May 2008, we adopted Ashley (seen in the picture above). She had been in the foster care system since age five and now at 18 finally has a home an parents who love her! We continue to do foster care and have two little boys with us Alex, age 3, and Aurilio, Age 2.
I officially retired from radio in May after doing it for over 20 years to start doing work as a Family Support Worker in Omaha and find the work very rewarding. Debbie and I are still working on opening an agency designed to provide life training skills and homes for older foster children who are set to become emancipated adults. |
