After 20 years in the Air Force, 7 years at Boeing in Seattle, and 2 years on the BYU math faculty, I am transitioning over to Utah Valley University as an Associate Professor of Mathematics. Since I finished at BYU in 1987, our family has lived in Edwards AFB CA, Dayton OH, Montgomery AL, Seoul Korea, Houston TX (Rice University), back to Dayton OH, Bellevue WA, and now Provo/Orem. We have 7 children, BGBGBGG, ages 14-28. From oldest to youngest, I have a married son who is plumber in the SLC area, a daughter who graduated from BYU in family history and is working on an online library science master's, a son who graduated from BYU in Chemical Engineering and is heading to medical school at Texas-Houston, a daughter who just graduate from WSU-Spokane with a master's and is now working as a speech pathologist in the Jordan school district, a son who is studying piano at BYU, and two teenage daughters who keep me young. I am still an avid songwriter, love genealogy, and now sing in the Tabernacle Choir. |
