I have been home for well over two and a half years, living and working in St. George, Utah. My family toured Switzerland six months after school. I attended Dixie State College until I received my associate degree May 2009. While there I served as 2nd Councilor in the Elder's Quorum, Executive Secretary, and Sunday President in my college ward.I also worked full-time in an AmeriCorps position for two years while taking 20 credits. I was stationed at the Volunteer Center of Washington County. I worked with youth service-learning, youth interventions, community events, and the web page. I also continued to run races (even as a fat guy) and completed my 8th St. George Marathon last October.
I am transferring to BYU in two weeks. I was accepted into the music program on bassoon and plan to double major in European studies and music. I am still not married as of now, but I am hoping that happens before I become a menace to society. |
