I guess I'm older than I thought. After BYU and dental school in San Francisco our family has settled (for now) in DuPont, WA. I have been stationed at Ft. Lewis for two years and will be staying here until I finish my surgical residency in 2011. After that we hope for one of the five slots the Army has in Germany for Oral Surgeons. Our daughter is almost 3 and thankfully has her mother's good looks.
We like serving in our predominantly military ward where there is a lot of mutual respect and strength. Our testimony meetings are full of stories from deployed soldiers and their families thanking the Lord for their blessings. We will soon have 38 deployed melchezidek priesthood holders which makes ward orginization a challenge and home teaching vitally important.
I am thankful for my blessings and I am thankful for the many good memories of our time together. |
