Click on Photo for Larger View ADVENTURE IN THE OFFINGJune 4th I head for Taipei and a sabbatical year of intensive Mandarin language study at 國立台灣大學's 國際華語中心 (ICLP). Kris and Ariel will join me in late August and will engage in their own less intense language study programs. Upon return to the states in July of 2008 I will be certified to start a Mandarin language program in our local school district. With Joseph in China and us in Taiwan, we will be maintaining a web log (accessible by invitation only) with photos, experiences, and observations. Post Mission Life MBA from BYU, 1982. Married Kris in June 1982. Moved to Oklahoma where I worked for TRW. Attended University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana from 1986-88 and earned an EdM in Elementary Education. Taught 4th grade for 15 years, Gifted and Talented coordinator, for 3. Taught Junior High School math and English last two years. Recently released as president of the Wausau Wisconsin Stake. - Our oldest, Joseph, returned 7/04 from the Washington Tacoma Mission. Spending 2007-2008 in China studying Chinese and teaching English
- Erin is a junior at BYU-Provo.
- Ammon leaves soon for the California Arcadia Mission, Spanish Speaking.
