Comments: My wife, Sharon, and I still live in Idaho Falls where she now serves on the city council. We have three children. Our oldest, Matthew, served a mission in Tokyo Japan, is now married and attending medical school in Erie, PA. Our second, Derek, served a mission in Hong Kong, is now married and studying music at BYU-I. So, three missions to the orient, but three different languages. Our youngest, Lauren, just spent 3 months in Ghana, Africa as a volunteer and is now back at BYU-I. The gospel and my family have been my greatest blessings and the focus of my life.
Most of my Church callings have been with the young men, including two stints as Scoutmaster, one as Varsity Coach, Webeloes, Charter Representative, stake and ward young mens, bishop, etc. I'm now with the Priest quorum as an advisor. I truly enjoy working with these young men. These callings have given me many great opportunities to work with young men as they grow and prepare for their own missions.
I really appreciate Elder Bell's efforts in maintaining this web page as it periodically sends me on trips down memory lane. As I see new profiles added or revised, I have enjoyed many fond memories and have appreciated more than ever the truly remarkable experiences that we shared in Taiwan.
Warm regards and best wishes to all of you. |
