Gee, where do I begin?
Hi! I'm Elder Gary Gardiner! And no, I haven't dropped the "Elder." Once a Taichung missionary, always a Taichung missionary.
I'm currently attending BYU and pursuing a degree in International Relations--with the long-term goal of opening up China (hey, someone has to do it. Might as well be me).
I'm serving as a Ward Missionary in my student ward, which is quite a special experience. I was greatly blessed in the realm of member-missionary work as I saw a good friend of mine get baptized shortly after my return from Taiwan. That's something I intend to continue doing... forever.
What can I say? I'm in love with China. I intend to keep my future as connected with the church's growth in China as possible, although I may have to approach it from a different angle now.
I dream of serving another mission in Taiwan or mainland China.
