Comments: I had the opportunity of serving on the island February and March of 1987 with Elder Richard Thornton as my trainer. I was blessed to survive an accident that occurred March 9th, and after hospitalization and out patient therapy, I was able to complete my mission in the Texas San Antonio mission. Because of the head injury I received, I was not able to spend enough time with all the elders and sisters of the mission to be able to remember all of you, even if we served in the same area. I will be grateful for any help to refresh my memory and for the opportunity to become better acquainted with you.
I have the opportunity of being married and sealed to my best friend. We met on a blind date with the help of my aunt. After spending several months dating, we were engaged and later married in the St. George temple. I am the father of four incredible children – two girls and 2 boys.
I went back to college following my missionary service and I am a special education instructor. I draw on the experiences gained on my mission to assist me in my job. I view teaching as facilitating the learning of my students and I have an understanding of the different challenges that present themselves as obstacles for my students.
I currently have the opportunity of serving in the primary. I get to teach the nine and ten year-olds. They keep me on my toes and keep my testimony strong. |
