After my mission I stayed in school a long time.......... BA, BYU '86, MA, UBC '88, Ph D, UofToronto '97 and served as Bishop for a brief period somewhere along the way. I married Tanya Yvonne Fielden (of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia) in 1990. Our children are: Brendon, going on 13; Julia, 9; and Jeremy, 7. Because of their mother's influence, they are great kids!
I've been to China since my mission (Xiamen 93-94) but have not yet been back to Taiwan (yet).
I work for the Privy Council Office (the Canadian Prime Minister's department of government) analyzing international events. I thus live in Ottawa, Canada's capital.
