After graduating from the U of Hawaii in 1983 and working a year at the Bank of Honolulu the Lord told me to move to Los Angeles. I was shocked but I listened and have never regretted the move.
I've held virtually every church position a single adult can hold, including Stake High Council, and finally married in 2004 in the Los Angeles Temple. I was the second counselor in a Young Adult ward after getting married and am presently the Exec Sec in the Long Beach 3rd Ward. We have a six-month-old son. He is a joy. Truly it is better to be late than never. |
