I married Kyrstne Moffett, also a Taiwan Taipei missionary, about a year after I returned. We have four kids, ages 24 to 32 as of 1/25/2013. We now also have four grand kids. I was a pharmacist working for Medi-Cal pharmaceutical services, but retired in May 2012.
Our two oldest served missions (South Africa and Brazil) and married - Micki in April 2005, Rusty in July 2005. Having 50% of our kids marry in a 3-month period is very intense! Our third child (Angie) completed her service in the Colorado, Denver North Mission in May 2009.
In August 2003, we took an 11-day trip to Taiwan and Hong Kong. What an experience! We did endowments in both the Taipei and Hong Kong temples while our girls did baptisms for the dead.
The Oakland California Temple is holding Mandarin endowment sessions once a month, on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 3:30 p.m. You should go there and help them out.
All of you, bone up on your Mandarin. We are now serving a second mission in Taiwan, Taichung, and it's the most fun we've had since our first missions!
