The years have been good to me and mine. Lisa and I have 4 children, Adam, Doug, Katy, and Lindsay, and three grandchildren, Brendan, Darcy, and Madison. The older three are married now, and Lindsay, our little bonus blessing, is 9 years old. I suppose we were the typical Mormon joke; Lindsay was born two weeks after Adam returned from his mission in Honduras.
Although I started my career as a high school English teacher, and spent a year as a magazine journalist, I've spent most of my career as a technical writer. I now work for the Church, in Materials Management.
I've held nearly every calling possible in a ward, but I've spent most of my time with the youth as Scoutmaster, quorum advisor, Sunday School teacher, etc. Working with young people has been a great joy in my life.
I am now serving as a Stake Young Men President. |
