Comments: My husband and I did take a trip to Taiwan in 1988. We visited the temple there and in Korea and Hawaii. We thought we would try to visit all the temples.... Then came kids and the traveling stopped. Our five kids are old enough now that we're traveling again, but with so many temples we have given up on trying to visit them all. Any Mandarin skills I had aquired have long gone. Our children are in French immersion and when I try to speak to them with my high school French it comes out half Chinese.
