After having very unexpectedly lost a job this year and very rapidly depleted my emergency fund, I found myself in a position where, but for the grace of God, I would have been homeless. It was a very humbling experience to loose my job, my benefits, and finally my home. I have a very keen desire to get involved on some level, though I'm still praying about this. I'm back at work as of 11/30, still on probation, in an apartment, and facing bankruptcy as my house will sell at forclosure in a matter of days. I will be contacting your organization. |
