I have six children (3 boys 3 girls). After returning from my mission I started working at Bryce Canyon and have been there ever since, that was in 1990. I married Lisa Wyatt from Beckville, TX in July of 1990. I was born and raised in Henrieville and with my job at Bryce Canyon I was able to stay and raise my family just across the highway from where I was raised. My kids climb, hike and ride thier bikes on the same trails that I did as a kid. In 2000 I was called a 2nd counselor in the new Bishopric. In 2005 we were released and I was called as the new Bishop. What a wonderful and challenging calling. It is a neat experience to call your own children in for a Bishop's interview. We have had the oppurtunity to return to Texas a number of times. It is great to be able to show your children where you use to live and the streets you tracked. The gospel great and true! |
