W. Rolfe Kerr, member of First Quorum of the Seventy, Church Commissioner of Education, former TDM Mission President, Stake President, High Councilor, Bishop's counselor, High Priest Group Leader, Sunday School General Board member, and Sunday School teacher. He served in the British Mission, 1956-1958. He was a former President of Dixie College, Executive Vice President of BYU, Utah Commissioner of Higher Education and served in other higher education positions. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Utah State University and his doctorate from the University of Utah. He has been awarded four Honorary Doctoral degrees. He was born in Tremonton, Utah, a son of Clifton G.M. and Irene Pack Kerr; married Janeil Raybould in the Logan temple in 1960. They have six children. Sister Kerr has served as a stake Primary President's secretary, Relief Society teacher, Young Women President's counselor, Primary President, Primary teacher, and ward chorister/pianist. She earned her bachelor's degree from Utah State University. She was born in Dillon, Montana, daughter of Verd W. and Ruby Liljenquist Raybould. |
