When my father was called as mission president in 1991, I made my first trip to Thailand very reluctantly. But throughout the ensuing three years, I fell in love with a country, a language and a people which to this day a very dear to me. My high school classmates at the International School Bangkok called me foolish for spending my time learning Thai, but I couldn't get enough of it, which came in handy when in 1997 I was called to serve in my high school hometown.
Presently I live in Huntington Beach, California where I work as a financial consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. I would love to hear from my fellow Thailand Bangkok RM's. |
