We're a family of four--Evan (3 1/2) and Colin (1 1/2) are our rugrats. After almost two years of doing tax work as a CPA in a large accounting firm in Chicago, I'm back in the throws of studying, researching, and staying up all night to finish assignments.
After BYU (BS, 2003) and Texas (MPA, 2004), I'm a year into a Ph.D. program at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. It is roughly a four year program and they'll throw in an MBA when it's over, but the idea is to jump on the faculty of a good business school and make a career of research and teaching.
At church, I've been able to serve in many great callings--primary, Sunday School and early morning seminary. Currently, I keep the books for the ward as the ward financial clerk.
Danette, my wife of almost 5 years, works in the nursery and has the "good fortune" of staying home with the kids. She is practically a professional scrapbooker--works at a store and writes for a magazine--and a uber-committed runner with two marathons to her credit.
