I married เก้า (ธัญรดา) on 12 August 2005.
I'm still finishing up my BA in linguistics at Dartmouth College. I'm crazy enough to be writing a thesis on Thai lexicography. I'll be done at Dartmouth in December.
Next year เก้า and I will return to Thailand for about six months while I work for the Center for Research in Computational Linguistics in Bangkok. Projects I'll work on will involve digitizing early Thai dictionaries, bringing the Mary Haas dictionary into the 21st Century (via the online version of it located at thai.sealang.net), and other things related to Southeast Asian lexicography.
I plan to start graduate school in Fall 2007 (acceptance into a program pending) in some combination of linguistics and Southeast Asian studies.
I'm always interested in things related to Thailand and Thai or other SE Asian languages and countries, so drop me a line if you know of any interesting things going on. :) |
