Comments:
I went through the police academy this last year. That was good for some laughs. I haven't found a job on a police force yet, I plan on returing to Thailand at the end of this coming summer (2005) and I'm not sure when I'll be back. So, it's part time, easy to walk away from jobs for now. I work in a computer lab at UVSC during the day, and work another job at a pet store evenings. I'm saving money for the trip back to Thailand. In between the jobs I'm taking some classes at UVSC. I'm keeping myself entertained by learning to play the gutair, and learing to speak Russian. Both of those projects are coming along nicely. I have also purchased a 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado. It's a beast. I stay busy keeping it running and scrounging gas for it. (If you want a time consuming hobby that resembles a mix of treasure hunting, antiqueing, and parenting; and that will cause a low grade eco-disaster oil spill in your driveway, try driving an old car. It's a riot. And everytime you manage to find a part you need for it, you will cry like you've found your long lost twin brother. And Ebay? It's your new best friend.) My car does much more that get me from point A to point B. It teaches me many valuable things. Patience, temperance, faith, and long suffering are among them. That's pretty much it for now. I'll let you all know how my adventurous return to the land of smiles turns out.
