Updates are good.....We are officially "settled" - no more college, no more moving. We are in the Portland area (with-in 8 minutes of downtown), but on the Washington side of the river in Vancouver. We love it here. All the arts & culture of a big NW city, without having to live in a 5th floor walk-up downtown. My husband is a systems engineer for a large steel company. He has very flexible hours and loves what he does and how well it relates to his degree. I am officially done with the world of Retirement Funds & Investments and am focusing on providing my kids balanced meals, plenty of sports & outdoor play, and educational opportunities.
My son Ben is 6 years old. He has an incredible vocabulary and can hold his own in many adult conversations. He is a movie buff and a natural born athlete (with my husband's height & my coordination). He'll start 1st grade this fall.
My daughter Ryann is 4 years old and pretty sports inclined herself. She loves soccer, baseball, and basketball, like my son, but she also loves to dance. She is really smart and has already mastered all of her letters and numbers.
My husband and my kids are incredible and keep my life really fun and entertaining. We are really happy. The church is true. |
