Jessica and I got married April 30, 2002, four days after we graduated from BYU. Near the end of the summer, Jessica and I moved to Springfield, Oregon, kind of like the Orem to Provo, and I started work as an intern with the University of Oregon. I work in the sports information department, same as what I did my final year at BYU. I am in charge of media relations for the wrestling and tennis teams, and help out at pretty much every single Oregon sporting event. It's been fun, but busy.
Jessica teaches at a local preschool so we are able to take lunches off together at times and that has been nice. She comes home very tired every day, but that could also have something to do with her being pregnant. We are expecting our first child come June and couldn't be more excited. We are not sure if we will still be in Oregon come next year, but those who know me, please send me an email so I can get in touch with many of you who I miss. |
