Hello...I am daughter to Tom Tu'italau Tonga (Jun 6, 1940-Nov 12, 2003). He left a chronicle of scripts that described the journey of specific missionaries who left an impact upon the Tonga/Tomasi family lineage. In the year 2015, we share the chronicle in hopes to re-establish the commitment the Tonga/Tomasi family has for the building & edifying in LDS missionary work (Tonga, USA, New Zealand, Australia, Samoa, & various parts of the world). Meleane Tohu'ia Tomasi shared her experience with her children & her son (Tom Tu'italau Tonga) wrote of the journey Meleane experienced as a staff member w/Seini Tone (director) @ the "Matavaimo'ui" (service) around Feb. 1921. Meleane dedicated 5 solid years of her life (age 12 to age 17) working @ Matavaimo'ui for the LDS Mission. Tom writes of Makeke (education school) developed by the LDS church. The names of missionaries who left an impression for Meleane at the time are listed by her son (Tom Tu'italau Tonga. Here's a peek into his writing, " GO TO SCHOOL AT "MAKEKE" WHICH WAS A "NEW MORMON CHURCH SCHOOL" THEY JUST STARTED TO BUILD IN TONGA.. HERE IS AN "INCOMPLETE LIST OF MORMON MISSIONARIES" THAT "MELEANE TOHU'IA TOMASI" USE TO TALK ABOUT EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE : 1) MISI FISA ( ELDER FISHER) 2) MISI SEMISI ( ELDER JAMES) 3) MISI 'OLOSINI (ELDER OLSEN) 4) MISI TIPELI ( ELDER DIPPLE)
