| Comments: I loved Ukraine. I have ancestors from Western Ukraine and possibly Poland but we know very little about it so I strongly desire to go back and do some investigating. I also have a German grandfather who was killed and buried in Dnepropetrovsk in WWII, so Ukraine is very special to me. It is a crazy wild life there, and as much as I missed home while I was there I love the country and the culture deeply. I am a changed person because of the time I spent there, thanks to the many people I met and loved. After some exciting globe trotting with the love of my life I started grad school and am currently in the thick of it, studying contaminants in stranded whales and dolphins at Hawaii Pacific University. | |
