| Comments: I returned home August 2000 and immediately started school at the University of Utah, majoring in Biology and Russian. 6 weeks after returning home I communicated with Sister Carrie Boyer. We began dating and were married May 5, 2001 in the Salt Lake Temple. We are expecting our first child at the end of April, 2004. We still don't know if it is a boy or a girl. I just recently (August 2003) started medical school at the University of Utah and am enjoying it very much. Carrie and I are currently serving as Branch missionaries in the Salt Lake Russian-speaking branch. It has been a great opportunity to maintain our Russian and it helps us feel like we can travel back to Ukraine once a week (at least for a few hours). This summer we went back to Ukraine and visited all the cities we served in, it was fantastic to see all our friends again! Life is good! Being a missionary in Ukraine has been such a blessing in my life! I hope all of you are doing well, God bless! | |
