Today the 29th of September, a little under four months since I returned home, I received the most wonderful phone call. It was the daughter of a man I had taught for the last 4 months of my mission. He is a good man. A man whom the Lord truly loves. His daughter called me and told me that this man, for whom I have prayed so long, has decided to be baptized. I knew it would happen. I had felt impressed that sooner or latter he would, and today the Lord has fulfilled his promise to me. Fulfilled what I was able to glimpse so many months ago. It truly was worth every effort my companions and I offered in sharing the gospel with this man and now Brother Rostaclav Lukach has committed to be baptized on the 23rd of October. Oh, how great is my joy. |
