After the mission I got a degree in History, got an advanced Russian degree from Moscow State University, and a M.A. in Slavic Linguistics from the Ohio State University. I taught Russian there for a couple of years and am now a Federal Officer and live in Alaska. I've been married 10 years and have 3 kids: Dallan is 8 and was baptised in February, Braelyn is 5, and Asher is 2.
We are an outdoor family which is why we chose Alaska. We like snowboarding, motorbiking, four-wheeling, biking, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, and hiking. My kids all think they are the next Shaun White and love skateboarding and snowboarding. My project for the spring is a half-pipe at the house which will probably result in a few hospital visits (if there was one nearby).
Man I only remember a couple companions' names; Allred because his name is close to mine and we were companions three freeking times and Saez because he was freeking insane and is destined to be the next president of Argentina. Reneau whose Russian is insane and who emails me once every 3 years and Christensen who is still the biggest redhead I've ever met.
