Candice and I have been married for 11 years. We met through young single adults and Hogi Yogi (sandwich shop) in California. We moved from California to Utah in 1997 after I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino and I began working for an import/export company. Later, I worked for a local furniture company where I had the responsibility for coordinating the transportation of all ocean container shipments to three different distribution warehouses in the US. In addition, I had purchasing, inventory and distribution responsibilities.
Currently, I work for the Church and supervise the department that is responsible for all the humanitarian shipments the Church sends out. I have also worked with LDS Humanitarian Services and the Humanitarian center. During the course of my Church employment (6 years), I have been to Indonesia participating in the distribution of wheelchairs to the poor and needy and looking at proposed sites for clean water projects. Most recently, I was in China visiting a wheelchair manufacturer and participating in a wheelchair distribution.
Candice and I have three children- Katrina (9), Christopher (8) and Caleb (6). All three are in school and are doing well. Candice works for the Church on an on-call basis for Banquet services. In addition, she also works for a local reception center that hosts wedding receptions and other events. We currently live in Bountiful, Utah. I will have my Masters Degree in Management and Leadership completed by May of this year.
In regards to Church callings, I was just released as the Executive Secretary in the Bishopric and am now serving as the Elders Quorum President. |
