I went back to the Guay with my wife in Feb. of 2001 and stayed until Aug. 2001. We lived in Malvin on the Rambla and it was much different from living there as a missionary. I studied at the Universidad Catolica del Uruguay and did an internship at a Dutch bank (ABN AMRO). Andy Call came down and stayed with us for a week. I was there for the temple dedication and that was amazing. Another amazing thing about Uruguay is Punta del Este. But go while you're single, my friends. I served as the D.O.M. in Carrasco and my wife taught the English primary.
I got married shortly after I got home (4 months). I have a daughter, Madeline, and she is now 8 months old. I will graduate from the University of Utah (the Lord's school) at the end of this year in Accounting.
I'd like to hear from anybody that may remember me, even though my intentions of setting up this profile were solely to have access to Dever's contact info... |
