Hey everyone!,
Well I guess I had a little of a scare a week and a half ago having surgery done in a foreign country. but thankfully everything turned out well!! I only have three little cuts that are barely noticeable and they already removed my stitches and told me I am in prime condition and I`m a normal kid again! But returning to the field has been a little different as a zone leader.
Now I am in the department of Tacuarembó on the north western side of uruguay, it is famous for tranquility and the nice people! So far I have loved it, it is ALOT different from the city of montevideo because people actually listen to us and are really honest. There aren`t bars on every window and people can actually leave there cars out front unprotected and no one robs them!I`m glad to be here and am already starting to love the membersand well lately it has been freezing!! we have investigators and they will be progressing shortly and for sure this change will help someone to make the baptismal covenant.
I am excited to be in Tacuarembó with Elder Tippets and I know it`s going to be a great change I am learning a ton from his example and we are doing our best to spread the good news of the gospel! we have been sharing alot about christ and 3 nephi 11 and encouraging the members to share the gospel!
Everyone has different talents, we should NEVER compare us or others to anyone else because our father made us individuals, not one of us is the same and we need to realize that we all have gifts and talents and we may not no everything but we know enough, we are where we are because the lord wants us there, like christ said to I believe it was oliver cowdery he was un sure of whether or not he was doing what he should be doing and the lord told him that he was where he was because he was guided by the spirit and we are the same we dont seem to recognize where the lord has carried us! We need to realize it and have more faith and confidence!!!
