Well, life is really good to us. Our daughter Noémie is now 13 months old and she runs everywhere in the apartment with a big smile. She is lots of fun, except when we still have to get up at night! :)
Aude has stopped working as a biology teacher to become a great homemaker (or should I say, the maker of our home....).
I got hired in a biotechnology company on august 2005, a month and a half after being graduated. I work as the manufacturing and quality manager (so, running after deadlines, taking care of the stocks, writing proceedings and so on...). It's lots of hard work and stress but I really enjoy it.
As for church, I’ve been called last September the stake executive secretary. In two weeks, I am going to live from the very inside the changing of our new stake president. It's a really interesting experience. I learn so many things as I serve the Lord.
With all these things happening in my life since last year, I’ve been rather tired and lost some weight... (as you can see on the picture). Anyway, I have grown more than I could imagine and striving to keep going forward.
Last Thursday, the sister missionaries stopped by our home. They shared a spiritual thought and we invited them for the dinner that evening. Today, one of them bore testimony at the Relief Society meeting to express her gratitude because they had had a bad day that Thursday. My wife and I were really happy to have helped them in a way...The Lord really takes care of his children and servants. Do you remember all those experiences we lived ourselves in the UPM?
I hope all of you are doing great and am waiting for you to send up some news. I love you all and think of you often.
The Church is true! May we all stay faithful to this great work! |
